A visit to Rungis

I had no idea that Rungis was the largest wholesale market in the world for fresh products before I stumbled upon this article by FX on his blog about food and cuisine. Not for the faint-of-heart, indeed, but fascinating. Rungis always reminded me of Zola and Les Halles, and I always thought about it as one of the french civilisation’s secret cores.
