It seems that Paris is not that different after all. People are mainly the same. Places are oddly familiar. And I’m glad to enjoy the ”pains au chocolat” I missed so much. Lucky me, the weather is beautiful so I can walk around freely, most of the time with friends I’m delighted to meet. I’m being very french myself, spending my time in ”cafés”, shopping for designer cloths and reading in the subway. My iPod stays at home – it doesn’t seems as enjoyable as in Toronto – but I try to keep a very canadian smile on my face. My friend A. warned me many times, once you left, you never come back. Even if the old life seems to have remained the same, the space that was once yours is gone for ever. Whether it’s still possible to create a new one is still open to discussion.
